In the framework of this award, SFC is to mature its portable 50 Watt fuel cell to production readiness. This Fuel Cell is based on SFC Energy's award winning DMFC fuel cell technology for defense and security applications.

SFC receives Jenoptik order to supply power to the NYXUS observation platform

SFC receives a new order from the German Bundeswehr to further expand fuel cell deployability in defense applications

SFC receives commercial order for portable fuel cells in international peace-keeping mission

Brunnthal, February 11, 2008 – SFC Smart Fuel Cell AG, market leader in fuel cell technologies for mobile and off-grid power applications, has again been awarded a commercial order for its portable fuel cells in a defense application. The order amounts to 350,000 Euro. Ordering customer is a Western-European defense organisation. The order builds on the successful use of SFC Smart Fuel Cell AG products in international tests. The order comprises portable Jenny fuel cells and Power Manager units both by SFC. These systems will be used in an international peace-keeping mission.

SFC’s U.S. licensing partner Capitol Connections LLC receives major U.S. Air Force Order for Delivery of Serial Commercial Products and successfully refutes protest

Brunnthal, Germany, November 28, 2007 – Following a successful tender of the U.S. Air Force SFC's U.S. partner Capital Connections LLC was awarded a follow-up contract in September 2007 regarding delivery of 521 Power Managers worth approx. 1.5 million USD. Immediately after contract award, a protest was filed against the award decision by a competing US company, resulting in a stop of work order. Now, SFC has been able to prove the rightfulness of the tender award jointly with the American business partner and legal counsel engaged in this matter.
