Modern satellite systems have emerged as the backbone for drone operations on the modern battlefield. In addition, it enables armed forces to generate a vital real-time situational picture. The highly mobile satellite network is deployed on all fronts and has become an irreplaceable capability in national defense.
The satellite system is widely known to be very energy-hungry. If no power outlet is available, mobile systems with batteries can only be supplied with power for a few hours. If, for example, a diesel generator is connected, the system becomes heavy and easier to detect due to its high heat and noise signature.
If an EMILY 3000 is used for supplying power with an M10 fuel cartridge, continuous operation of approx. one week can be ensured. The fuel cell is military hardened, is in use all over the world and offers an optimal and highly mobile power supply for satellite networks. At the same time, it has hardly any heat or noise signature. The EMILY 3000 is also the ideal power supply for drones.
